RLX is an in-mold type hardcoat which needs to be processed differently by us than other lenses. It is because of this we ask our customers to send boxtops OR identify what lenses they send us. The following list are lenses with an RLX (or similar) hardcoat. The numbers in parentheses are the first 5 digits of the boxtop number:

Shamir    (unknown)
Office
(plastic only. High index 1.66 and 1.67 are regular)

A/O    (01001-01009)
Technica
Tru Vision
Pro
Compact
B Activ
Instinctive
Easy
Omni
(Plastic only. All mid or high indexes such as 1.55, 1.56, 1.60, 1.66 and 1.67 are regular)

Sola    (01010-01019)
EZ 2 VU Blended Bifocal
XL
VIP
Percepta (only if there is an ‘H’ on the boxtop)
(Plastic only. All mid or high indexes such as 1.55, 1.56, 1.60, 1.66 and 1.67 are regular)

Signet Armorlite or Kodak    (01030-01039)
Navigator
SunSensor
InstaShades
Evoclear
RLX
RLXPLUS
Kodak Precise
(Plastic only. High index 1.66 and 1.67 are always regular. Finished lenses are regular also)

ALL TRANSITIONS LENSES ARE REGULAR
ALL POLYCARBONATE LENSES ARE REGULAR
ALL GLASS LENSES ARE REGULAR
ALL POLARIZED LENSES ARE REGULAR
ALL 1.66 and 1.67 LENSES ARE REGULAR
ALL TRIVEX IS REGULAR
